My toes touched oceans. I love to travel. It is said all you have to say is, “Do you want to go,” and I am ready. I’ve traveled the U.S. from the east coast to the west coast and from the Gulf of Mexico to the Gaspésie Peninsula in Canada. I have places I love for different reasons; Mobile, Alabama because spring comes so early; Shady Cove, Oregon because the summers are so beautiful; Jacksonville, Florida because I can swim in the ocean in the winter and Margaretville, New York because the colors in the mountains in the fall are so spectacular.
That might be why I love to read historical romances. They take me to other places and other times. I leave automobiles and cell phones and computers behind. It can be summer even when there is a blizzard outside my windows.
